User centered design is the  formalization of processes I have worked to implement throughout my career.

When I began working in political communications, traditional media strategies were struggling in the digital environment. Rather than cover up poor performance with statistics, I began using UX research methods to determine fundamental issues. 

Backbone was mandatory when the time came to present results and calm resolve to defend the process. In time many of my strategies resulted in media gains.

Working in a field where you are a few characters away from public humiliation has left me with a healthy amount of irreverence for politics, design, PR and marketing.

As a result I have focused my career toward UX/UI and strategy. In the words of Macgyver, “Maybe it's about time I expanded the realm of possibilities around here.”
