I care deeply about UX Research and its process. Since the beginning of my career I have emphasized validation and measurement as a cornerstone of good design. This has led me to build research teams where there were none and evangelize the benefits of ResearchOps.
After a wonderful conversation with Lily Bisset, Director of Experience Design, I learned how serious Honeywell is about building a strong ResearchOps infrastructure. This requires experienced people who can conduct, synthesize and communicate findings.

At the beginning of 2019, I began work to re-architect how content would be "authored" on NCR.com. The company uses the Adobe Experience Manager to drive the website and usability was in the tank. After a auditing the state of the implementation against other AEM builds, I presented an audit to our team. As a result I was made product owner of NCR.com, leading a complete rearchitecture.

The Coca-Cola company had an issue with misinformation about their products. My role was to build a team to conduct ethnographic and qualitative research while incorporating findings from cross-functional partners.

In 2017 I found time to teach the part-time User Experience Design course at General Assembly. Over 20 classes I worked with 10 students presenting and facilitating UX methodology two hours a night. This meant tailoring curriculum to the audience and balancing lecture, group exercise, and individual project work.

Clients love professional presentations. Video a great way to add that extra something special. Planning, filming and editing video isn't a traditional user experience skillset, but you would be amazed how helpful it is. I own my gear so I am game for whatever you throw my way.

Brightwhistle’s form builder is a purpose built to work within the existing lead generation platform. Since the platform segments tasks like landing page creation, the form builder was fine existing as an independent tool.
Our design recognizes this reality while setting a firm foundation for future development. As the lead generation platform evolves the form builder tool can be integrated into any number of workflows.
Adjustments to existing interaction patterns, like the floated slide over “form field creation” tool, make usage more intuitive. Information architecture adjustments avoided drastic design pattern changes, reducing development time.
Our final product improves upon the existing tool and defines a more usable design president going forward. Both administrative and client level benefit from error reduction and a clearer workflow.
